Os voy a presentar a nuestro viejete Range Rover que utilizaremos para esta aventura por Marruecos.

I am going to introduce you to our old Range Rover that we will use for this adventure through Morocco.

Anna y yo solemos hacer muchas excursiones por nuestra tierra, sobre todo por las montañas que nos rodean y que tan a mano nos quedan desde nuestra casa en Barcelona. Además de las excursiones solemos asistir a eventos tipo Les Comes Festival, Land Rover Party o los encuentros que organiza el Club Land Rover TT de España.
Nos gustan mucho las trialeras que es donde mejor se desenvuelve nuestro Range que os paso a describir brevemente.
Esta subido 5 cm de suspensión, muelles reforzados, amortiguadores de gas regulables, grupos cortos, autoblocante trasero Ashcroft, parachoques reforzados, el delantero con winch de 12000 lbs con plasma, Snorkel, escape especial, carroceria recortada, rueda de 7" x 16" sin separadores con neumaticos cooper discoverer tt Pro de 235/85 y como he comentado en la leyenda de la foto, el motor T300 es nuevo de hace 22.000 km, yo le he añadido una bomba de combustible eléctrica ademas de disponer de doble bateria y algunas cosillas más que no vienen a cuento.
Aunque mecanicamente está perfecto y lo cuido mucho, no puedo decir lo mismo de la carrocería que está rellena de heridas de guerra incluyendo un leve vuelco. La verdad es que a veces me da pena ver la carrocería, pero es que cuando hacemos trialeras, me voy dejando partes de ella en las piedras, paredes y arboles que me voy encontrando. Eso si, tendriaís que ver por donde lo hago pasar..... a veces pienso que se va parar y espero que por los altavoces me diga: Vale ya, no? Pero no, nunca se queja el pobre... yo creo que disfruta mas que yo !!

Anna and I usually do many excursions around our land, especially closer mountains from in Barcelona's home. In addition to the excursions we usually attend events such as Les Comes Festival, Land Rover Party or the meetings organized by the Land Rover TT Club of Spain.
We really like the Trial, is where our Range best unfolds, which I'll describe briefly.
This raised 5 cm suspension, reinforced springs, adjustable gas dampers, short groups, Ashcroft rear self-locking, reinforced bumpers, front with winch of 12000 lbs with plasma, Snorkel, special exhaust, trimmed body, 7 "x 16" wheels without separators with cooper discoverer tt Pro 235/85 and as I said in last picture, the T300 engine is new from 22,000 km ago, I have added an electric fuel pum, having double battery and some little things that do not come to mind.
Although mechanically it is perfect and I take care of it a lot, I can not say the same about the body that is filled with war wounds including a slight rollover. The truth is that sometimes I feel sorry to see the body, but when we do trial, I leave parts of it in the stones, walls and trees that I am finding. You must to see where I make it happen ..... sometimes I think it's going to stop and I hope that on the loudspeakers it says: Okay, right? But no, never complains the poor ... I think he enjoys more than me!

Además del imprescidible AA, en el interior disponemos de una radio android con pantalla tactil donde programo y sigo la ruta con el TwoNav y los mapas correspondientes, dispone de una muy buena antena GPS que además transfiero y recibo datos de la tableta que manipula Anna para ir controlando los pasos y waypoints marcados donde tambien esta instalado el TwoNav.
Tambien disponemos de 2 semibaquets reclinables muy cómodos con los apoyabrazos originales de los asientos del Range incorporados a ellos. Un gift que echaba de menos hasta que no los volví a montar en los semibaquets. Hay tambien y encima del retrovisor, una pequeña pantalla de la cámara trasera que utilizo para cuando voy al revés o arrastro mi remolque tienda que si no, no lo veo cuando conduzco.
Tambien llevamos montada un emisora Midland y como soy muy alto, tuve que cambiar el volante por un Tyrex que muy amablemente y entre otras cosillas, me montó mi amigo Felip del Sahara 4x4 de Manresa para poder entrar y salir comodamente del Range además de permitirme una excelente movilidad para mis castigadas piernas mientras conduzco.
No puedo dejar pasar un pequeño detalle que no sé si os habeís fijado en él. Una botella de agua de Land Rover para saciar la sed. Todo un lujo !! Ojo que la relleno con agua osmotizada !! Cabe muy poco agua pero, a que mola?
No sobra pero tampoco le falta de nada, lo suficiente para ir cómodos y disfrutar del viaje.
Como soy muy aficionado a la fotografía y video, disponemos tambien de una Gopro Hero4 que normalmente va montada en el capó delantero y controlada desde el móvil y también estoy preparando un soporte con estabilzador de 3 ejes para poder grabar video y hacer fotos desde el interior del Range con una zapata de liberación rápida para mi cámara Olympus OM-D E10 Mark II que es una auténtica pasada y que disfruto muy mucho.
Para recargar todas las baterias, móviles y demás artefactos como la nevera (Vitrifrigo VF45P) que seguro nos llevamos para el viaje, dispone el Range de múltiples tomas USB y 12V cc distribuidas en el salpicadero, detras del cubibox y en el maletero.
En la próxima entrada os contaré lo que esoy haciendo de preparación interior para acarrear todos los bultos que nos llevaremos en el viaje.

In addition to the imprescidible CA, inside we have an android radio with touch screen where I program and follow the track with the TwoNav app and the corresponding maps, has a very good GPS antenna that I also transfer and receive data from the tablet that Anna handles for go controlling the steps and marked waypoints where the TwoNav app is also installed.
We have 2 very comfortable reclining seats with the original armrests of the Range seats incorporated to them. A gift that I missed until I decided put back in the seats. There is also and above the rear-view mirror, a small screen of the rear camera that I use for when I go backwards or drag my tenttrailer if not, I do not see it when I drive.
We also have assembled a Midland CB and due I am very tall, I had to change the steering wheel for a Tyrex that very kindly and among other things, my friend Felip del Sahara 4x4 of Manresa rode me to be able to enter and exit the Range comfortably and also allow me a Excellent mobility for my punished legs while I drive.
I can not pass a small detail that I do not know if you have fixed on it. A bottle of Land Rover water to quench your thirst. A luxury !! Sure that is refilling with osmotized water! There is very little water but, what's cool?
It does not spare but it does not lack anything either, enough to be comfortable and enjoy the trip.
As I have a hard hobby as photography and video, we also have a Gopro Hero4 that is usually mounted on the front hood and controlled from the mobile and I am also preparing a support with 3-axis stabilizer to record video and take pictures from the inside of the Range with a quick release connection for my Olympus OM-D E10 Mark II camera that is a very good camera which I enjoy very much.
To recharge all batteries, mobiles and other devices such as the refrigerator (Vitrifrigo VF45P) that we take for the trip, has the range of multiple USB and 12V dc distributed on the dashboard, behind the cubibox and in the trunk.
In the next post I will tell you what I am doing and preparing inside to carry all the packages that we will take on the trip.
